National Seminar on Science and Technology (SNST) FMIPA UPR 2024
The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Palangka Raya University (FMIPA UPR) held a National Seminar with the theme "Contribution of Science and Technology through the Utilization of Natural Resources and Local Potential in Supporting the Realization of Sustainable Development Goals", Saturday (5/10/2024) at Ballroom of the UPR Peat Science and Technology Development and Innovation Center.
In this hybrid seminar, the Keynote Speakers were Prof. Dr. Nuning Nuraini, M.Si (Bandung Institute of Technology), Prof. IPB University) and Muhamad Rum (PT Tuah Turangga Agung).
UPR Chancellor Prof. Dr. Ir. Salampak, M.S. In his opening speech, he hoped that the National Seminar held today could bridge collaboration between scientific disciplines and provide opportunities for academics, researchers, practitioners and other stakeholders to share knowledge about how existing natural resources and local potential can support the realization of the Sustainable Development Goal. . It is also hoped that this seminar can become a platform for participants to convey the latest research results, best practices and creative ideas in order to achieve sustainable progress for Indonesia, with more specific themes related to sustainable development goals and towards a Golden Indonesia 2045.
Dean of FMIPA, Dr. Siti Sunaryati, M.Si said that this seminar is an activity carried out periodically every year and this year is the 6th year which is expected to support the actualization of scientific work in order to improve science and technology. The resource persons and academics who attended were also able to exchange information and ideas so that in the future research collaboration in the field of Mathematics and Natural Sciences can be realized to support the development of scientific, technological and learning innovation in the digital era.
In this event chaired by Dita Monita, S.Pd., M.Si, as many as 225 participants from inside and outside UPR took part in an offline and online seminar which will present 87 articles divided into the fields of Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Mathematics, Pharmacy, Science and learning.
