Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences UPR Holds Job Seeking Seminar with the theme: Preparing Yourself for the Green Economy Era, Presenting Speaker Mohamad Ichwan as Senior Talent Acquisition Xurya from PT Xurya

Palangka Raya, 07 December 2024 – The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (MIPA) Palangka Raya University (UPR) held a seminar entitled Job Seeking which was held on 07 December 2024. This seminar was held to provide insight and information that is useful for students in facing the world of work.
This event, which was held online via the Zoom Meeting application, invited Muhamad Ichwan, a Senior Talent Aquisition Xurya from PT Xurya, as the main speaker. In this seminar, Muhamad Ichwan shared knowledge about effective strategies and tips for looking for work, starting from creating an attractive CV, facing interviews, to preparing for the recruitment process at large companies.
"We hope that this seminar will provide a clear picture and prepare students to face the challenges of the world of work. PT Xurya is committed to continuing to support the career and skills development of students who will soon enter the job market," said Muhamad Ichwan in his speech.
This seminar was attended by more than 50 participants from UPR Mathematics and Natural Sciences Faculty students who were also interested in deepening their knowledge about how to be successful in finding work. Apart from providing material, Muhamad Ichwan also opened a question and answer session, where the participants enthusiastically asked about specific tips for optimizing job opportunities.

collaborate with PT Xurya in holding this seminar. "Activities like this
are very important to help students prepare themselves to face the challenges
of an increasingly competitive world of work."
It is hoped that this activity can be an effective bridge
between the world of education and the world of industry, as well as opening up
opportunities for students to be better prepared to enter the professional
world after completing their studies.
